Why the Advertising?

This page is here because I feel apologetic about having advertising and I felt like I should explain. 
The Reason Is: I like having money to spend on things.

How can I justify it? I rationalize with myself that it's because the pennies help to keep the site running. Every little bit of revenue helps.

That's my justification. Heck, if I got enough revenue I'd make this little website my life's work.

If you really hate advertising...

Click the link at the bottom to download the Firefox web browser. It is a popular, powerful and well-designed web browser that has an edge. "Add-ons".

Then install the add-on known as 'adblock plus'. It makes ads just disappear and has a list of the most common ads maintained by other people (so you don't have to mess with configuring things). You just subscribe to the area in which you want to block ads... it may sound confusing but once you click the 'install' link it walks you step by step through everything.
